ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track vital customer information and orders.
- Digitize physical documents by transferring data into a digital database.
- Update and manage customer records in the database.
- Organize and maintain existing data in spreadsheets.
- Verify and update outdated information, ensuring accuracy in records.
- Operate standard office equipment, including scanners and printers.
- Conduct searches and investigations of information contained within files.
- Perform regular database backups to ensure data security.
- Enter both text-based and numerical data from source documents.
- Provide occasional administrative support as needed.
- Sort and file hard copies of paperwork following electronic data entry.
- Review data for errors and correct deficiencies.
- Assist with special projects requiring substantial data entry.
- Provide data entry support across various departments on an as-needed basis.
- Efficiently type data with attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Data Entry or Client Support Specialist.
- Fast typing skills; proficiency in a touch typing system is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
- Familiarity with office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of database management.
- Strong command of English, both oral and written, with solid customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
